use of left/right arrow key on laptop confusing#1311

situation
have more lists than fit on laptop screen

action
tap touchpad on empty space outside a list
tap right arrow key a lot of times

result
window content moves a bit, then stops in spite of hitting the arrow key, then jumps a cerrtain fraction of window width. so you have to search where the same list has now jumped to.
arrived at showing the rightmost list, it jumps back to show the leftmost an then stays there, no matter how long you push the right arrow key

the underlying reason was, that I had switched on “caret browsing” in my Edge by hitting F7. Switching it off normalized behaviour again, so the report can be cancelled.
