Feature Request: Persistent Login / "Trust This Device" Option for Desktop App#1526

Issue: Currently, every time I launch the Google Tasks app on my computer, I am forced to log in again. The application does not retain my session, and there is no option to stay signed in.

Suggestion: I recommend adding a “Keep me signed in” or “Trust this device” feature. This would allow the app to remember the user’s credentials and launch directly without requiring authentication at every startup, significantly improving the user experience.
