Description:
I am experiencing a critical data synchronization issue when using the TaskBoard to reschedule tasks. I use “fine-tuned” tasks in my Google calendar that carry multiple specific attributes and metadata. When these tasks are moved or rescheduled within the TaskBoard interface, nearly all associated data is lost.
Detailed metadata affected:
Task Attributes: Categories such as Operation, Development Tasks, and Strategic.
Settings: Visibility and permission settings (e.g., “viewable by who”).
Time Data: Specific Start and End times are being wiped or corrupted during the move.
Steps to Reproduce:
Create or identify a “fine-tuned” task in the calendar with multiple attributes (Category, Visibility, Start/End times).
Open the TaskBoard interface.
Reschedule the task by dragging it to a new position/date.
Re-examine the task details.
Expected Result:
The task should only update its date/time coordinates while retaining all existing attributes, metadata, and visibility settings.
Actual Result:
The task loses all custom attributes and settings. The “fine-tuned” data (Operation, Development, Strategic, etc.) is deleted, and the specific start/end time information is lost, effectively resetting the task to a blank/basic state.
Priority: High (due to data loss)
