Deleting List#1542

I created a list that has reoccuring tasks to see how it worked. It didn’t work for what I wanted but now it doesn’t delete. I’ve checked off tasks and tried deleting completed tasks, I’ve taken off the reoccurance of those tasks, I’ve deleted the whole task list. It always comes back! How do I get rid of it???
