Ability to add time to a task#27

we can add date but not time in the chrome extension unless added from gmail view.

Setting time and recurring tasks are features added by Google in 2019 - they enabled it in official Google Task apps (Gmail sidebar or official iOS / Android), but haven’t updated the API accordingly, so unfortunately all 3rd party apps (like us) don’t have a way to set time or recurring tasks for now.

We will support these features as soon as Google makes it available for developers.

Thanks for the explanationg about the missing API feature - I was going crazy trying to figure out why every single app I try completely “mishandles” syncing the reminder time with Google…

This app would probably be more popular if you paid more attention to its desktop version. Company owners need this.

I just checked another desktop app, ToDo, for google tasks, and here I can add times to each task . So it is possible for others ….

Correct, and you can edit time to a Task in the GCal by editing it and removing the “all day” checkmark.

I obviously can edit the task in GCal and set a time. But I want to do it in TaskBoard. What is the point of creating it in TaskBoard and then editing it in GCal?

lol it’s a workaround until they get their API’s figured out. Everything is evolving so fast I’m just happy as punch all of this is connected! I’m old, trust me, this is all revolutionary to our productivity and tracking.

PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD MAKE IT SO WE CAN SET A TIME FOR EACH TASK FROM DESKTOP TASKSBOARD

Access the google sidebar on the right side in gmail on desktop and you’ll be able to add the time to your task.

Can you guys do a workaround and use your databases to store the time user sets using your interfaces and you guys send notifications while the tab open?

That way you can keep your users and even grow into being independent with time.
