Repeating / Recurring Tasks#11
It would be great if I could set a repeating task on the desktop extension instead of having to add that in the app.

Unfortunately, Setting time and recurring tasks are features added by Google in 2019 - they enabled it in official Google Task apps (Gmail sidebar or official iOS / Android), but hasn’t yet updated the APIs accordingly, so unfortunately all 3rd party apps (like us) don’t have a way to set time or recurring tasks for now.
We will support these features as soon as Google makes it available for developers.

What is the update from Google? I followed the link but it is still not clear to me. No movement at all in 2022?
Hello! what is the status of this feature ? Setting the date-time and recurrence for any task are nowadays considered basic features
When making a task repeating on an annual basis, the task is automatically deleted from the list via the Android app. Also deleted from the the desktop app as well. I think this is a bug.
You can do recurrent tasks if you add them via Google Calendar
